Vamanrao Ithape Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital (VIHMC), established in 2000–2001 in Sangamner, is a leading institute offering BHMS and MD (Homoeopathy) programs. Sangamner Medical Foundation and Research Institute is established in 1994 by renowned Cardiologist of Sangamner Namely Dr. Ashok Vamanrao Ithape. He started this trust with aim to uplift the medical facilities in Sangamner City by starting Medical College in Sangamner Taluka.The Sangamner Medical Foundation and Research Institute Trust was laid in the year 1994 with the vision to upgrade Socio-Economic and Ethical Transformation of our country. This Trust impart quality Education by giving innovative courses like BAMS, BHMS, Nursing, MBA, Pharmacy, Polytechnic, and ITI.At SMFRI, we believe that the Investment in Education is an Investment in People and their promising future. Our goal is to thrive students in becoming graduate with highest quality of skill and knowledge who as an outcome will be able to achieve grate height in their careers.

Vamanrao Ithape Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital and Post Graduate Institute, Sangamner imparts Education for BHMS and MD since 2001 and 2016 respectively. Both the courses are affiliated to MUHS Nashik and Approved by Government of Maharashtra and NCH Delhi.We have an intake capacity of 100 for UG and 27 for PG. To provide better Teaching facilities and better Training facilities we have provided Well Equipped Departments and Well Equipped Hospital in the campus.Our teachers are highly qualified and undertake maximum efforts to shape our students. Hand on training is given to students in Hospital. College has provided Hostel for girls with 24 hrs security and Mess.
